Happy Anniversary!

We interrupt the regularly scheduled From the Mouth of... for this special post! From the Mouth of... will continue tomorrow.

Happy 2 Year Anniversary Shitface!

We got married this day two years ago. (08/12/2006) We (ok, well I) actually put a lot of thought into the date of our marriage and decided on this day because we met in the month of August and we had known each other for 12 years. (And it helped that this day was a Saturday too!)

Today we celebrate not only two wonderful years of marriage but we also celebrate having known each other for 14 years! (and not killing each other!) We met our freshman year in highschool and we've been best friends since then. Yea, we've been through our share of ups and downs but it's our friendship that has been there over the years to get us through it all.

My Mom recently reminded me of our first "date" which I had forgotten about over the years. My parents drove us to the movies (Jumpers Hole - which is no longer in existance) and his Dad picked us up - we were 14! It took us a while to remember which movie we actually saw but we both agree that it was Free Willy. He says 2 but I'm not sure about that one.

So I leave you with this:

Why this song you ask? Well this is one of our new favorite songs because we both agree that it reminds us of our honeymoon in Hawaii and longing for the day that we actually get to go back!

Happy Anniversary to the man I love - my soul mate!

I had been putting today's date out of my head (I'm sure you know why), but thanks for the reminder - otherwise I may have forgotten to say CONGRATS.

What do you have to say?

OBSCENITY ALERT:

This Blog is my outlet. It's where I share my thoughts and feelings. It's a place where I can vent. Not everyone thinks alike. People don't always share the same religious or political views. Some people (like me!) occasionally think in more “colorful” terms than others. Sorry, but I'm a big girl and can use cuss words and talk about not-so-mainstream stuff if I want to. If you find that sort of language offensive / shocking / annoying, you may want to stop reading now. Life as a military wife ain't always pretty. It's my life, though, so don't say I didn't warn you.
