Songs in My Head

Are there songs out there that remind you of your spouse? (I was going to say husband, but I corrected myself just to be politically correct in case there are any men lurking out there.)

My husband and I have quite a few but my new favorite to listen to when I'm down is this:

It just seems to be fitting for our deployment and always puts a smile on my face - even if I do shed a few tears in the process.

Do you have favorite songs that remind you of your spouse?

The Man I Want To Be by Chris Young...it's my LoverBoy for sure...well not the part about beggin' for another chance & hurting "the gir"...but the rest of it totally reminds me of him! :o))) He just wrote me a letter last night after we got into a little argument & it was all those things! LOL! And my song to him is ANGEL by Natasha Bedingfield for sure! P.S. I accidently deleted your email so I could send you the Skully! Sorry I totally suck!

That song always reminds me of B -especially with him being stationed in Okinawa. I have a lot of songs that remind me of him. "I'm Yours" Jason Mraz, "Soon As You Can" Dierks Bentley, "Wait for Me" Theory of a Dead Man, "Then" Brad Paisley

My husband just joined the army, and I am not even sure of what is ahead. He is currently away for Basic and Officer Training...I already miss him terribly.

Now following your blog....you can also follow mine at

What do you have to say?

OBSCENITY ALERT:

This Blog is my outlet. It's where I share my thoughts and feelings. It's a place where I can vent. Not everyone thinks alike. People don't always share the same religious or political views. Some people (like me!) occasionally think in more “colorful” terms than others. Sorry, but I'm a big girl and can use cuss words and talk about not-so-mainstream stuff if I want to. If you find that sort of language offensive / shocking / annoying, you may want to stop reading now. Life as a military wife ain't always pretty. It's my life, though, so don't say I didn't warn you.
