I know it's Wednesday already and I haven't posted yet this week!
It's a busy week making returns, shopping, reading new books and playing with new gadgets.
Oh yea, and that
company did make me an offer but as I suspected I'm not real excited about it. Now I'm in the process of negotiating with them to see if we can get it a little closer to what I want.
I'd be interested to hear what others think of the current state of the economy and trying to find a job... Should I settle for this or keep looking? Is it only going to get harder to find a job in the new year?

Don't settle. Play hardball. If they REALLY want you, they'll give you what you want. Good people are hard to come by. They are not doing you a favor by hiring you, you are doing them a favor by accepting.
